Kentor Gold announced that is has completed the planned drilling programme at the Kurgan 1 gold prospect in the Kyrgyz Republic. Five diamond holes were drilled with a total length of 615.2m, significant intersections returned 1m at 3.9g/t from 57m depth from KRG-1a and in Hole KRG-4 intersected 1m at 4.1g/t gold from 125.2m.

Kentor Gold Limited announced that a drilling program to follow up surface sampling results has commenced at the Kurgan 1 gold prospect on the Kurgan Exploration Licence area in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Kentor Gold reported to have received final assay results from the 2009 exploration programme at Kurgan 1 prospect in the Kyrgyz Republic. A re-interpretation of the geology of the area followed by a programme of geophysics, geochemistry, trenching and channel sampling has lead to the identification of 6 gold-bearing lodes averaging 4.5m in width and 150m in length. The best intersections to date from channel sampling are: 3m at 7.3 g/t of gold, 5m at 7.3 g/t of gold, 17m at 1.5 g/t of gold, 5m at 3.1 g/t of gold
