Latest Information November 30, 2010 Kentor Gold announced that is has completed the planned drilling programme at the Kurgan 1 gold prospect in the Kyrgyz Republic. Five diamond holes were drilled with a total length of 615.2m, significant intersections returned 1m at 3.9g/t from 57m depth from KRG-1a and in Hole KRG-4 intersected 1m at 4.1g/t gold from 125.2m. August 10, 2010 Kentor Gold Limited announced that a drilling program to follow up surface sampling results has commenced at the Kurgan 1 gold prospect on the Kurgan Exploration Licence area in the Kyrgyz Republic. December 30, 2009 Kentor Gold reported to have received final assay results from the 2009 exploration programme at Kurgan 1 prospect in the Kyrgyz Republic. A re-interpretation of the geology of the area followed by a programme of geophysics, geochemistry, trenching and channel sampling has lead to the identification of 6 gold-bearing lodes averaging 4.5m in width and 150m in length. The best intersections to date from channel sampling are: 3m at 7.3 g/t of gold, 5m at 7.3 g/t of gold, 17m at 1.5 g/t of gold, 5m at 3.1 g/t of gold |
