Arianne Resources announced the SEDAR filing of its NI-43-101 scoping study from its phosphate-titanium Lac à Paul deposit in Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Quebec, Canada. According to the author of the study, the Lac à Paul project is profitable assuming that the phosphate concentrate is sold at a price higher than $100 CDN/ton. The economic model shows that for a selling price of
$118 CDN/ton of concentrate, the internal rate of return would be 20%.
Arianne Resources announced the first economic and profit estimates for the Lac à Paul phosphorus-titanium project in Quebec, Canada. The scoping study was done by IOS Services Géoscientifiques Inc. and is based on the inferred resource calculation previously provided by SGS Geostat Inc., in March 2009. The resource estimate for a total of 3 Zones, given a 2% P2O5 cut-off grade, is estimated at 304 Million tons of inferred resources at 6.18 % P2O5 and 7.81 % TiO2.
Arianne Resources announced the start of its second definition drilling campaign on one of the Lac à Paul deposits in Quebec, Canada. This 3,500-meter campaign will take place on the Paul Zone where inferred resources of 99 Mt at 7.84% P2O5 and 8.24% TiO2 have been previously announced. The goal of this program is to upgrade part of the inferred resource to an indicated resource and to test the lateral extensions of the deposit.
