Apella Resources announced the results of its recent channel sampling program completed on the 100% owned Lac Dore North Vanadium-Titanium-Iron project, near Chibougamau, Quebec, Canada. The Lac Dore North covers the northeast extension, over a strike length of more than 3.7 kilometers (2 miles), of the adjoining Lac Dore Vanadium-Titanium-Iron Deposit, the second largest Vanadium deposit in the world. A total of 43 channel samples are reported. In these current assays Vanadium (V) values ranged from 0.04% to 0.59% V, which after conversion to Vanadium Pentoxide (V2O5), returned values from 0.07% to 1.05% V2O5. The average grade of Vanadium Pentoxide over the 43 samples is 0.51% (V2O5). Titanium Oxide (Ti02) values range from 0.76% to 11.80% (Ti02); the average grade of Titanium over the 43 samples is 6.06% (Ti02). Iron (Fe) values range from 9.93% to 70.8% Fe; the average grade of Iron (Fe) over the 43 samples is 38.14% Fe.
Apella Resources announced that the company has completed its initial 10 hole (993 m) diamond drilling program on its wholly owned Lac Dore North Iron-Vanadium-Titanium project at Chibougamau, Quebec, Canada. Boreholes 1 through 6 intersected disseminated to massive magnetite mineralization at depth consistent with that which had been observed at surface.
Apella Resources announced that Phase 1 of its 2009 filed work has commenced on its Lac Dore Iron-Vanadium-Titanium project in quebec, Canada. The purpose of this program is to identify drill targets for a follow-up diamond drill program.
