Reports results of drilling. The highest grade intersection inholeDCINT-6 contains 0.45m at 70.6 g/t Au and 84g/t Ag. The first round of drilling was designed to test thePinzan vein system below the current mine workings . The high gold grades were localized in quartz-sphalerite-pyrite veins in a graphitic black shale or at the contact of black shale and an epidote-chlorite hornfels. It is believed the lack of mineralization in four of the holes is due to intense shearing along the vein which can occur as the vein passes through the black shale wallrocks. Surface drilling will also be conducted over the Capire vein, 10 km north of the La Calentana mine. The Capire vein has been traced for one km along a N55°W strike in andesites that overlie the black shales. The vein varies from 1 to 3 meters in width and is composed of banded quartz with minor pyrite and chalcopyrite.
