St Barbara announced updated resources where drilling at Gwalia beneath 1,640 metres below surface (mbs) has added 515,000 ounces of contained gold in Indicated and Inferred Resources down to 1,840 mbs, at a discovery cost of $16 per ounce.
St Barbara Limited announced that the Definitive Mine Study for the King of the Hills gold project at Leonora, Western Asutralia, confirmed the viability of the project. The probable ore reserve from the mine plan shows 1,670 M t of 4.3 g/t of gold, containing 230 k oz gold.
St Barbara announced June 2010 Ore and Mineral Resources Reserves Statements. Highlights include: Total company ore reserves have increased by 332,000 ounces of contained gold net of production, to 15 million tonnes at 5.8 grams per tonne of gold for 2.9 million ounces of contained gold.
