Majescor received the final results from the reconnaissance survey conducted on its Besakoa gold and base metal prospect, located in southern Madagascar. The analytical results confirm the presence of anomalous gold, silver and copper values over a minimum 700-metre strike length at the main Besakoa prospect.

Reported that caustic fusion analysis of geological samples from the THB and Zery kimberlites dykes discovered last fall by Majescor and its partner Madagascar Mining Development in southeastern Madagascar have failed to recover any diamonds from an aggregate 340 kg of material. However, diamonds have been reported historically in the drainage basin where the kimberlites occur and the potential to find a diamond-bearing kimberlite on the property remains.

Has reported that from a small sample (less than 5 kg) collected from dyke THB discovered last September, more than 285,000 indicator minerals (visual estimate) were observed in the concentrate. Ilmenite is dominant, purplish pyrope garnet is common (more than 400 grains) and chromite is somewhat scarce (45 grains). Given the strong alteration, chrome diopside and forsterite grains are absent. A representative parcel of garnet and ilmenite grains, as well as the entire population of chromite, will be analyzed. The results should be available over the next few weeks.
