Claude Resources Inc. announced that it has successfully dewatered past the 16th level of the Madsen Mine shaft in Red Lake, Ontario. De-watering past the 16th level is necessary for the Company to target and drill extensions to the high grade 8 Zone and to test associated sub-parallel systems. Other highlights include; drill hole MUG-09-04 which intersected 7.90 m @ 25.77 g/t gold including 0.95 m @ 141.80 g/t gold. Phase II of the program will include two underground drills targeting the 8 Zone Trend.
Claude Resources reported exploration results from the Madsen project in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada. Highlights include hole AP-09-01 intersecting 1.10 m grading 18.72 g/t gold from 58.90 m and hole AP-09-08 intersecting 2.0 m grading 44.38 g/t gold from 267.0 m.The drill holes are from the Company's 2009 surface program that tested a near-surface extension of the Austin Tuff.
