Latest Information September 30, 2007 The Mv Ivan Prinsep and Mv Namakwa were utilised for mining and prospecting work in Namibia. The vessels conducted resource development for 34 working days which has resulted in the establishment of a sufficient resource to enable the development of a feasible mining plan for the 2008 calendar year. The Mv Namakwa underwent statutory maintenance for the entire month of September 2007. Production, and subsequently revenue, increased by 8% compared to the same reporting period last year, with a combined total of 18 300 carats. March 31, 2006 Both MV Ivan Prinsep and MV Namakwa were utilized for the production, however, their ability was affected by adverse weather and sea conditions. Sampling of NAMDEB concessions were also made. September 30, 2004 The two air-lift mining vessels, mv Ivan Prinsep and mv Namakwa, conducted mid-water contract mining in Namibia, with the proceeds from the sale of 22,800 carats accruing to Trans Hex. The company has concluded an agreement with a Namibian empowerment company, Epia Minerals (Pty) Limited, to jointly pursue various opportunities in Namibia. |
