Metals X, through its wholly owned subsidiary Harbour Capital (WA) Pty Ltd has agreed to sell its Mt Keith and Kingston Royalties to Franco-Nevada Australia Pty Ltd for A$20 million.

The agreement to sell up to a maximum of 14,000 tonnes of nickel-in-concentrate per year to OMG Harjavalta Nickel Oy expired. Now concentrates, containing approximately 23% nickel, not contracted for sale are transported by road to Leinster or Kambalda for drying and blending with other concentrates and then delivered to the Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter for smelting.

Pilot plant trials for the new nickel leach circuit at Mt Keith are underway in the United States. Product from the leach circuit will be fed directly to expanded capacity at WMC's Kwinana nickel refinery or sold as a high value intermediate product.
