An additional 16 drill holes had been completed on the Flex zone. Drilling intersected the vein system 75 m north and 100 m south of the previous drilling. The drilling returned signifcant gold and silver values over narrow widths. The veins occur over a 55 m wide zone and have been intersected along a horizontal distance of 425 m on a north-northwesterly trend. It was also reported that mining at the the Brown-McDade deposit encountered carbonate-hosted gold-silver ore in a silicified breccia pipe.
