In the 1990s, exploration was conducted over a 90 m strike extent of the Chamuk target area, outlining a gold resource of approximately 213,700 tonnes at an average grade of 7.4 g/t gold over 2-9 meters, to a depth of 150 m. The resource is open along strike and at depth. Assay values of up to 215 g/t gold were also obtained from grab samples.
