Grande Portage Resources reported to have completed its previously announced bulk sample at the Merry Widow project. A 5-tonne sample was collected from the north edge of the open pit, in an area locally referred to as “Copper Knob”, a prominent exposure of semi to massive chalcopyrite mineralization. Approximately 250 kilograms of sample with one kilogram of material selected for metallurgical testing. Sample results include gold at a head grade of 9.9g/t with 95.1% recovery, silver at 74.0g/t and 88.9% recovery and copper at 5.9% with 88.0% recovery.
