NASSILE

Cassidy Gold and Island Arc Exploration announce that they have entered into a mining option agreement dated August 31, 2010 with Middle Island Resources of West Perth, Western Australia pursuant to which Cassidy and Island Arc have granted Middle Island an option to acquire up to a 70% interest in the Nassile project located in Niger. Currently, Island Arc holds a 49% interest in the property and Cassidy holds a 51% interest in the property.

Cassidy Gold and Island Arc Exploration announced that Cassidy has given notice to Island Arc that it has complied with its obligations under a Mining Option Agreement between Island Arc and Cassidy dated November 12, 2009 in order to vest a 51% interest in the Nassile project as defined in the Agreement.
