Scorpio Mining reported that the half year 2009 production, contained metals produced in concentrates at Nuestra Senora mine in Mexico, consisted of 1.95 million pounds of lead, 385,000 pounds of copper, 3.49 million pounds of zinc and 261,559 ounces of silver.
Scorpio Mining provided an operations update for June 2009 for the Nuestra Señora mine, Mexico. Underground development for the month of June stands at 168.3 metres; ore tonnage mined was 10,722 tonnes in the cut & fill stopes and ore moved to the mill was 10,415 tonnes. A total of 56,969 ounces of silver were recovered for the month in addition to lead, zinc and copper credits.
Scorpio Mining provided an operations update for May 2009 for the 100% owned Nuestra Señora mine, Sinaloa State, Mexico. A total of 45,214 ounces of silver were recovered for the month in addition to lead, zinc, copper credits and a total of of 83,997 ounces of silver were shipped / sold for the month in addition to 312 tonnes of copper concentrates and 414 tonnes of zinc concentrates shipped to the loading facility in Manzanillo, México.
