San Gold Reosurces has entered into an option agreement to acquire the Oro Grande property in the Rice Lake Greenstone belt, Manitoba, Canada. The Oro Grande property is host to two former past producers: the Gunnar mine which produced 101,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 12 g/t and the Oro Grande mine which produced 5,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 20 g/t and operated during the 1930's and 1940's. Numerous other high-grade gold showings also exist in addition to the strike and plunge potential of the two past producers. Currently targets are being prioritized at the property for the preparation of an intensive fall and winter diamond-drilling program.
