Latest Information December 31, 2002 Update of activities -- surface exploration in 2002 focused on the evaluation of geophysical anomalies identified through the processing and interpretation of the airborne magnetic surveys. Ground geophysics, heavy mineral sampling and geological mapping were conducted over all priority anomalies. Preliminary results from the heavy mineral sampling have identified new target areas where numerous kimberlite indicator minerals, including pyrope garnet, ilmenite and diopside have been recovered from heavy mineral samples collected down ice from geophysical anomalies. The presence of these kimberlite indicator minerals immediately down ice from defined geophysical targets improves the potential of these targets and warrants follow up exploration potentially including diamond drilling. Bard intends to continue exploration of its Otish Mountains properties in 2003. The program is expected to include detailed ground geophysics over the priority targets from the 2002 program and heavy mineral sampling to evaluate other targets from the airborne geophysics and surface exploration programs.
