Plata-Peru Resources has announced preliminary results of its milling test on the Pachapaqui lead-zinc-silver deposit in Peru. The milling test consists of 10,000 tonnes of ore which was mined during the course of 1998 operations. During 10 days in May, 1,892 tonnes were processed, grading 3.67% lead, 4.76% zinc, 4.32 ounce/ton silver, and 0.85% copper.
