Reported to have commenced the planned scout drilling program which was previously delayed. The program encompasses 5 drillholes to a depth of 50 metres to determine the number of seams in the concession area. The drilling was stopped after 20 metres on the first drillhole due to equipment malfunction halted the operation. Due to the present lack of funds the drilling activity will continue once more funds are raised. The exploration license will also be extended provided payments are made for its extension.

Reported that due to an outstanding obiligation under the property licence, a 2,946 hectare area located next to was offered to carry out exploration. A mapping exercise was conducted over a 200 hectare area with outcrop sampling analysis yielding: Total Moisture of 14.7%, Ash Content of 2.2%, Volatile Matter of 24.4%, Fixed Carbon of 60.6%, Total Sulphur of 0.48% and Gross Calorific Value of 6,208 Kcal/Kg.
