June 30, 2008 The aim is to bring the Chenchu Mountain Prospect to account by unlocking the geometrical relationships in the mineralization system, and in addition to further investigate the prospectivity of strike continuation of the Tombe-Parabu shear zone. 3D modeling of the existing drill and trench data has revealed the potential for a subhorizontal mineralized shoot that plunges to the south-southwest. It was planned to carry out further 3D modeling, structural mapping, RC/DD drilling and trenching to intersect modeled down-plunge and surface mineralization respectively. It is envisaged that resource drilling would follow this work.
April 30, 2008 Two grids of soil sampling programs along the Tombe-Parabu shear corridor that generated two north-south oriented anomalies, each about 1,300 metres long. The two anomalies are 300m apart and the area has encouraging quartz veining and an undulating topography.
