March 13, 2007 Hinterland Metals reported a broad zone of PGE mineralization hosted within pyroxenite gabbro ranging from 6.7 to 31.1 metres wide over a horizontal distance of 300.0 m. at the Plateau project located southeast of Matagami, Quebec, Canada.
March 13, 2007 Released assay results from eight holes recently drilled at the Plateau project. A broad zone of PGE mineralization hosted within pyroxenite gabbro ranging from 6.7 to 31.1 metres wide was intersected by the latest drilling over a horizontal distance of 300 m. Weighted average intersections of the zone vary from 0.10 to 1.07 grams per tonne PGE with maximum individual values up to 2.52 g/t PGE. An intersection of 30 m of 0.2 g/t Pt plus Pd was among the results highligthed in the press release.
November 21, 2006 Hinterland discovered a new platinum-palladium zone by drilling on its Plateau PGE project located in Quebec, Canada. The zone occurs as a distinctive layer or reef in drill hole EB06-05 and returns a weighted average of 1.9 g/t combined platinum and palladium over three metres from 80.5 to 83.5 m. The platinum to palladium ratio is one to 1.25.
