Latest Information August 14, 2007 Field work, designed to identify and prioritize drill targets, was underway. The program involves prospecting, mapping and sampling over the next 2 weeks. Once information has been assessed, the previously announced initial 1,000- 1,500 meter diamond drilling program will commence. February 2, 2007 Results from the helicopter high-resolution geophysical survey results conducted last fall over blocks I/II were received. A total of 1,738.8 line km were flown. Flight lines were oriented north-south at a line separation of 100 metres, with tie lines oriented east-west at a line separation of 500 metres. Results show a total of six large zones of uranium enrichment; a total of eight discrete uranium anomalies; a total of seven moderate conductivity electromagnetic anomalies; a total of 18 discrete magnetic targets that conform to a strike limited prismatic or vertical cylinder model and may be present as kimberlites upon further inspection; and identification of possible iron formation and gabbro dike systems. The report describes the uranium zones as extending up to four km, with widths of 500 m to one km, with the smallest of the six zones being approximately 800 m by 400 m in size. November 30, 2006 Final results and interpretation were awaited; a diamond drilling program is planned to commence in the coming months. |
