Oropa announced new gold drill intersections from the Sihayo 1 prospect located at the Old Camp, pungkut, Indonesia. Hole SHDD134 intersected 35.0 meters grading 2.2 g/t gold from 73.0 meters, including 23.0 meters grading 3.0 g/t gold from 83.0 meters.
Oropa Limited announce that drilling at the Old Camp Prospect has continued to extend the gold mineralisation immediately adjacent to the northeastern margin of the Sihayo 1 North resource in Indonesia. First pass drilling at Old Camp has now identified gold mineralisation, greater than 1.5g/t, over a strike length of over 400 metres and the mineralisation remains open along strike to the northwest and to the southeast. Hole SHDD-123 returned 12m at 1.6g/t Au from 8 metres, including 6m at 2.1g/t Au.
Oropa has hired technical consultants for geological resource modelling, geotechnical, and metallurgical work to progress the current phase of pre-feasibility work on the Sihayo – Sambung gold project at the Pungkut Contract of Work in Indonesia. Oropa also reported that resource extension drilling at Sihayo continues and a scoping study considering the potential for incorporation of hydro electric power generation at the project is likely to proceed.
