Lonmin Plc announced it has published its production report for the three months ended September 30, 2010. Highlights include; 3.1 million tonnes mined at the Marikana underground operations which was up 0.5 million and a 19.5% increase from the prior year period, and Pandora underground production continued to improve and achieved a quarter on quarter increase of 9.3% and a 21.2% increase over the prior year period.
Pre-feasibility study on the project was completed.

Pre-feasibility studies have begun and was expected to be completed by Mar/07. At full production, expected in 2010, the project has the potential to add an additional 131,000 Pt ounces per annum from 2012. In addition, application for new order mining rights has been submitted.
