Barkerville Gold Mines reported that gold doré bar shipments have commenced from the QR Mine & Mill site in central British Columbia to a precious metals refiner located in eastern Canada. The inaugural shipment left the mine site in the last week of October and contained six doré bars totaling approximately 60 kilograms from production that began in the second half of September.
Barkerville Gold Mines announced that the first gold dore bar weighing 314.1 troy ounces (9.77 kg) was poured last week and the full gold production has now been achieved at the QR Mine & Mill in central British Columbia, Canada.
