Latest Information November 30, 1998 A single drill hole had been completed to test a coincident enzyme leach geochemical, and Transient Electrical Methods and Induced Polarization geophysical anomaly. The hole intersected post mineral volcanic rocks and gravel to a depth of 342 meters where it bottomed in modestly altered sandy limestone to a depth of 354 m. No sulfides or anomalous mineralization was noted in basement rocks to explain the anomaly. In 1997, drilling at Quebrada Grande North focused on a multi-hundred tonne enriched porphyry copper target within a 2,000 ha area. A 3 hole reverse circulation and diamond drilling program was completed with negative results, however an aquifer was encountered. Water rights were filed for and an exzyme leach-sampling program was completed. 4 new enzyme leach anomalies were identified.
