Exploration programs on two prospecting licences were being carried out. Field sampling and mapping on 12 target areas principally characterized by strong magnetic anomalies were completed. Field sampling comprised conventional geochemical sampling (65 sites), selective leach soil geochemistry (12 line kilometres, confined to three encouraging and appropriate target areas), and ground magnetics (160 line kilometres). Results from two RC drill holes completed at the Comet anomaly within the Alwar licence were expected in mid-Feb/01.

Exploration consisted of infill geochemical sampling to further define drill hole locations on 5 of the 9 target areas identified to date. Anomalous areas were confirmed. Drilling was planned.
