Property NewsMay 7, 2009 Vedanta Resources reported that as of the year ending March 31, 2009 commissioning work on Rampura Agucha, Sindesar Khurd and Kayar are progressing on schedule for start up on mid 2010. At Sindesar Khurd the ramp portal is nearing completion and resources have been mobilised to achieve accelerated mine development. March 31, 2009 Vedanta Resources reported that 28,000 metres of drilling in 32 holes were carried out in FY 2008 to
outline mineralisation below a depth of 550 metres. Of these, 29 holes intersected ore widths with significant grades averaging 15.5% zinc and 2.0% lead. September 30, 2008 Increased production was mainly due to the successful commissioning and ramp-up of the stream III concentrator. |
