Property NewsSeptember 30, 2007 Reported the following updates:
• Production of metal increased by 12% over the previous quarter with 1,726 equivalent tonnes of copper being produced including 878 tonnes of copper, 1,705 tonnes of zinc, 1,522 ounces of gold and 38,525 ounces of silver.
• The final three drill holes of a seven drill-hole exploration program have been completed with all three encountering mineralisation (including 8.2 metres grading 2.4% Cu, 3.7% Zn and 3.6 g/t Au and 8.0 metres grading 1.2% Cu, 5.1% Zn and 2.8 g/t Au) increasing potential for a westward strike extension of the mineralisation currently being mined in the Ungay Pit. September 18, 2007 Holes results of UMW006 and UMW007 were reported. Intercepts of 6.4 metres grading 0.73% copper, 2.26% zinc and 1.76g/t gold and 8.0 metres at 1.18% copper, 5.13% zinc and 2.8g/t gold were reported.. August 13, 2007 Reported the following:
- Five of the seven drill holes in the current exploration program are now complete. All have intersected sulphide mineralisation.
- Best grade to date intersected in hole UMW005: 8.2 metres grading 2.44% copper, 3.65% zinc and 3.64 g/t gold.
- Further infill drilling is now being planned to upgrade inferred resources adjacent to the western pit limit with the objective of adding mine life.
