During the last two years, the second phase of exploration was conducted and consisted of a total of 3,147 m of diamond drilling in 23 holes. 755 samples were collected from the core and submitted for analysis. Downhole geophysical probes were used to obtain partial logs from fourteen boreholes with mixed success, mainly due to technical limitations. An orientation study of the overburden was also conducted.
