Assays included 0.75 m grading 1125.45 g/t Au and 664.0 g/t Ag, 3.90 m grading 24.53 g/t Au and 75.32 g/t Ag, and 0.95 m grading 208.69 g/t Au and 118.00 g/t Ag. November 24, 1999 Laguna Gold has completed the sale of the crushing circuit at the Rio Chiquito Mine in Costa Rica to Geomaque Explorations for US$876,000. Laguna received a cash down payment of US$250,000, and a secured promissory note for US$626,000 bearing an interest rate of 10% per annum. November 16, 1999 Laguna Gold has reported drill results from twenty drill holes totalling 1,616 meters completed at the Rio Chiquito gold-silver mine in Costa Rica. Assays include 0.75 meters grading 1125.45 g/t gold and 664.0 g/t silver, 3.90 meters grading 24.53 g/t gold and 75.32 g/t silver, and 0.95 meters grading 208.69 g/t gold and 118.00 g/t silver. A scoping-level study has also been completed by the Winters Company at Rio Chiquito, concluding that underground mining and milling could be viable options at Rio Chiquito. |
