A small soil geochemical sampling program was carried out. This program outlined an area strongly anomalous in cobalt. A follow-up airborne geophysical survey has been completed, disclosing several discrete EM anomalies.

Limited surface sampling of portions of the ultramafic body yielded an average grade of 26.4% magnesium.

Drilling had commenced to identify within the ultramafic body the highest grade zone with the lowest impurity levels. The program involves 22 holes to depths of 50 metres to 150 metres, of which up to three will be drilled on the Roman claims. The highest grade zone were to be followed up by closely spaced drilling.
