Extract Resources announced an exploration update on the granite hosted uranium system at Rossing South, part of the company’s Husab Uranium project, Namibia. Chemical assay results confirm the continuity of uranium mineralisation at Rossing South, as the infill drilling moves the Inferred Resource closer to ‘Measured’ and ‘Indicated’ status. Highlights include hole RDD059 intersecting 18.0 m grading 0.3028% U3O8 from 393.0 m. All zones of uranium mineralisation still open at depth and along strike, in at least one direction.
Polo Resources reported that Extract Resources, in which Polo holds 22.4 million shares has announced new exploration targets for areas at its Rossing South project not included in its current resource estimates.
Extract Resources announced that a new zone of uranium mineralisation has been discovered on the western limb of the Rossing South antiform, Namibia. Hole R3RC0001 intersected 55.0m at 0.1474% U3O8 from 157.0m and hole R3RC0002 intersected 53.0m at 0.1616% U3O8 from 104.0m.
