Pacific Comox Resources reported assays for 2 channel samples (total of 11 one meter sawn samples) on the floor of the North Zone open pit to test the surface grades in an area where significant molybdenum and copper grades were reported in diamond drill holes at shallow depths. Highlights include 4.5% molybdenum, 2.7% copper, 53 g/t silver is average of 3 one meter channel samples in floor of North Zone open pit.
Pacific Comox Resources Ltd. reports assays for channel samples taken at the Ryan Lake Property in Ontario as part of a reconnaissance program to test mineralized outcrops on a trend extending north from the former underground copper mine and through the North and CLT Zones. Results included 0.082 % (1.6 lb/ton) molybdenum, 12 g/tonne silver & 0.16 % copper over 2 meters (DR3 Zone) in channel sample testing mineralized outcrop 2,150 meters north of former underground mine shaft.
Reported that the results to-date indicate the drill intersected mineralization in the North Zone extends 100 meters NESW, 100 meters NW-SE and to a depth of at least 80 meters in the area of the open pit. The potential remains open in all directions and at depth. The South Zone was also considered as being open in all directions.
