Blue Note Mining Inc. (TSXV:BN) has put its Caribou and Restigouche zinc and lead operations in New Brunswick on "temporary care and maintenance."

Blue Note Mining entered into an agreement with the New Brunswick government whereby the government will provide conditional security against a debt facility by Blue Note up to a maximum of Can$15 million. The loan is effectively a bridge facility to strengthen the company’s working capital until it receives payment from the sale of its concentrate.
