Property NewsSeptember 30, 2008 The saleable ore produced was at a record 7.1 million tonnes, an increase of 50% and the highest ever for any six month reporting period. Production in Q2 was 2.6 million tonnes or an
increase of 39% compared with the corresponding prior quarter. As usual, Q2 production was impacted by the monsoon. June 30, 2008 Sesa Goa achieved record production levels at 4.6 million tonnes as a result of an accelerated debottlenecking plan and performance improvement measures, compared with 2.9 million tonnes in the comparable period last year (on a full three month basis). Dispatches were also at record levels of 3.3 million tonnes, significantly higher than 2.2 million tonnes achieved in the corresponding period last year (on a full three month basis). March 31, 2008 Iron ore reserves and resources totaled 202 million tonnes.
