A ten hole RC drilling program totalling 861 metres at the Kayenze gold prospect was completed. Concurrent with the drilling, detailed geological mapping was completed along the west flank of the anomalous zone. No significant gold assays were encountered; however, a shear zone with up to 15% pyrite and some silicification within intermediate to mafic volcanic rocks was encountered in a number of the holes on the flank of the main gold geochemical anomaly.
