The Hercules open pit continued to produce ore on schedule and has produced to date 1.8Mt @ 2.4g/t for 141,000 ounces. The Hercules Central extension produced its first ore during the quarter from a Probable Ore Reserve of 0.5Mt at a grade of 2.1g/t Au containing 35,000 ounces. Full ore production will be achieved during the June 2007 Quarter.

Drilling at Hercules, has intersected 21m @ 31.7g/t from 52 m and 53 m @ 4.8 g/t from 40 m, which represents an eastern extension to the reserves which are currently being mined. These encouraging results may lead to a substantial enlargement of the current Hercules pit. Geological and resource
modelling and additional drilling is underway.

Reported that Au production was derived from underground mining at Marvel Loch and the open pit at Hercules, as well as from stockpiles. The first stage of the Hercules open pit, located 12km south of the Marvel Loch plant, is well advanced and substantial ore is accessible in the floor. Some 450,000t at 1.8g/t has been mined to date, of which 308,000t has been processed. A cutback has commenced. Production at Marvel Loch underground was from Undaunted, located at the northern end of the mine with a contribution from New Lode at the south.
