Staccato Gold Resources reported assay results from its Windfall project drilling program in Nevada, USA. Drilling confirmed that the Windfall fault zone is an extensive structural zone that measures up to 90 m (300 feet) wide, and contains two or more significant zones of mineralization. Hole 7 returned 41.1 m at 0.379 g/t gold (135 feet at 0.011 opt).
Staccato Gold Resources announced that the company is planning a program that will entail a minimum of 2,600 metres of
drilling at its flagship South Eureka property located in northeast Nevada, USA. A large portion of the drilling will be dedicated to exploring prospective areas outside of the main Lookout Mountain project.
Exploration was conducted on the Windfall Patents project, North Lookout Mountain project, and the South Ratto Ridge project during the program. All three projects lie within the extensive South Eureka property. Four holes intersected strong mineralization at the Windfall Patents project including 22.9 metres of 5.25 g/t (75 feet of 0.153 opt) gold intersected, including 1.52 metres of 52.11 g/t (5 feet of 1.53 opt) gold. At North Lookout Mountain project, best result include 38.1 metres of 0.96 g/t (125 feet of 0.028 opt) gold intersected while at the South Adit area, several thick, strongly altered structural zones were intersected at depth.
