Reported that underground production ceased in July 2008, and the mine closed in October 2008. Rehabilitation is expected to be completed by the end of 2009. All approvals are in place for the closure plans and closure is fully provided for.
December 31, 2007
Mining at Storliden was scheduled to be completed during the fourth quarter of 2007. However, the mine has continued to encounter additional mineralization and is now scheduled to finish production during the second quarter of 2008.
During the fourth quarter 2007 622 tonnes of contained copper and 2,570 tonnes of contained zinc were produced. Copper head grades were 1.1 % and zinc head grades 4.5%.

Reported that no significant sulphides had been encountered in the final exploration drill holes to test for a northwest extension of the deposit. No other targets remained within the near-mine area.
