Latest Information January 31, 2004 Six holes and assay results - Hole OPW-10 drilled at Pine West intersected numerous quartz quartz-calcite stringer zones in a broad zone that averaged 109.3 m of 0.134 g/t Au. Hole OPW-11 drilled at Pine East intersected four narrow quartz quartz-calcite stringer zones, each zone contained anomalous gold values ranging between 0.234 g/t Au and 0.366 g/t Au. Due to the negative results the no further work was planned at Straw Lake property at this time. January 6, 2004 Opawica Explorations has announced what the company considers negative results for six holes on its Straw Lake Ontario property. Hole OPW-11 drilled at Pine East intersected four narrow quartz quartz-calcite stringer zones, each zone contained anomalous gold values ranging between 0.234 g/t Au and 0.366 g/t Au. The others contained no signficant results and the company plans no further work at Straw Lake property at this time. |
