Aldridge has reached agreement in principle to merge with Causeway Mining Corp., a private B.C. company engaged in mineral exploration. Aldridge will have until Sept. 15th, 1999, to complete the merger. Dr. Morris Beattie, who is a director of Aldridge, is also president and a director of Causeway. Causeway has the Tamassira mining concession in Guinea. The Tamassira concession has numerous old Bambara gold workings, as well as at least two major alluvial occurrences. Causeway also has an option to acquire 100% of the Summers Creek project, which is a copper deposit near Princeton, B.C.
