August 18, 2010 Further to the joint announcement dated 27 July 2010 of the signing of a non-binding Heads of Agreement, Sumatra Copper & Gold announced that it has signed definitive Agreements involving an equity investment by Newcrest Mining Limited in Sumatra, an earn-in by Newcrest of 70% in Tandai of Sumatra’s projects and an option to acquire a 25% interest in Tembang.
