Property NewsJune 30, 1998 A RAB drilling program was planned for later this year. August 31, 1996 A new program of auger drilling had been completed on the concession in conjuction with Ashanti Goldfields. The auger drilled short holes to sample the soil horizons below the desert sand along the main target shear zone. The program completed 3,231 m in 746 holes. A total of 3,235 samples were collected on a 500 x 200 m grid covering an 18 km section of the 30 km shear zone. January 31, 1996 Exploration started. It was to include orientation geochem, prospecting, termite mound geochem and mapping. |
