Property NewsJuly 15, 2011 AMI Resources Inc. has received notification from the government of Niger that the 340.8 sq km Boksay permit and the 341.9 sq km Sorbon permit have been granted to the Company's wholly owned operating subsidiary, AMI Africa Exploration Ltd. Upon earning the 51% interest in the Tialkam (183 sq km) and Deba permits (275 sq km) from Golden Star Resources, AMI Africa will control 1,140 sq km in the Liptako area of Niger which is at the north-eastern tip of the major West African gold belt extending from the Atlantic coast in Ghana to the Niger river.
July 13, 2011 AMI Resources Inc. has received all assay results and reports on its Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drill program on the Sirba Gold project in Niger. March 30, 2010 AMI Resources announced that it has completed its initial drill program towards earning its 51% interest in the Sirba gold project in Niger feom Golden Star Resources. The 25 drill program was designed to confirm and extend gold mineralization identified in five of the multiple targets located on both the Tialkam and Deba concessions. Results from holes drilled in each targeted area include 1.71 g/t Au over 3 m from 96 m in hole CTRC002 in the Congo Toure zone.
