Latest Information October 31, 2002 A total of 38 quartz vein samples were collected with 17 returning greater than 5 g/t gold including 8 grab samples which returned greater than 30 g/t gold, up to a maximum of 122 g/t gold. In summer 02, detailed airborne magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical survey of the property and the current field investigation is intended to follow up the preliminary results received from this survey. Detailed 1:10,000 scale geologic mapping and prospecting are intended to help characterize the geological, structural and lithogeochemical setting of the property, particularly the host rocks to the gold-bearing quartz veins. 1939-46: considerable trenching and sampling was performed on exposed portions of the quartz veins. The "No. 1 Vein" has been traced along strike for approximately 1100m, including a 53m section reported as grading 0.4 oz/ton gold over a 1.76m width. Reported gold values from other quartz veins identified on the property include 0.35 oz/ton across 0.4m along a strike length of 91m ("No. 4 Vein") and 0.28 oz/ton across 0.78m along a strike length of 284m ("No. 2 Vein"). |
