The gold recovery plant is currently being commissioned. October 31, 1997 Operation were suspended due to difficulties in equipment and spare part acquisition. The plant was placed on care and maintenance. In 1997, a 30,000-cubic-metre stockpiling program was carried out during the season. This stockpile was in place for future processing. 71,000 ounces of gold in 8.0 million cubic metres of material grading 276 milligrams of gold per cubic metre were estimated to be contain within the license area. |
