Garrison International Ltd. reported that work at the Tovshiir site, located in Mongolia, and advances have been made in the continued test work of the ore in preparation for production startup midyear in 2011.

Garrison International announced that construction of a processing facility on its Tovshiir gold project, Mongolia, has recommenced. The project is expected to be a low cost producer due to the free milling nature of the ore that will be sourced at the project, as well as the very low strip ratio to the mineralization. The mineralization at Tovshiir outcrops as flat quartz ore bodies at surface and the mine plan has the entire defined mineralization zones being mined with less than a 0.5:1 strip ratio.

Garrison International announced the recent grant of an additional 4th mining license on its Tovshiir Project in Mongolia. The license certificate was issued on November 3, 2009 and is granted for a period of 30 years with a further extension of 30 years available. The license covers an area of 4.7 sq. km, with the result that a total area of 6.67 sq. km is under mining license at Tovshiir. The newest license covers zones of mineralization that Garrison refers to as the Ninja Zone, as well as southern strike areas of the mineralizing fault and quartz blow zone.
