Focus Minerals has started mining gold at The Mount underground project in Western Australia.
November 26, 2009
Focus Minerals announced a market update regarding the mill refurbishment, Mount Project, and Big Blow resource, located in Western Australia. The Three Mile Hill mill is approaching completion. On the Mount Project, the 140 m exploration decline confirmed grade and geological integrity, with face grades of approximately 8.0 g/t over ore widths of approximately 2.0 m. Surface drilling has commenced on the Big Blow resources. The first phase of the program is designed to define the resource for open pit planning purposes.
