During the quarter Initial drill program results including 1m @ 59.9g/t Au and 5m @ 12.5g/t Au have been received for the first six holes at the Union Mining Lease. Significant results for the Union ML include 1m from 88m grading 59.9 g/t Au (URC002), and 1m grading 10.9 g/t Au from 99m downhole 9URC002). from URC005 1m grading 12.4 g/t Au from 95m downhole. InterMet completed five holes at Percy West (PWRC002-006) for a total of 498m. The better results include: • PWRC002 – 1m @ 1.99g/t Au (63-64m); • PWRC002 – 1m @ 2.14g/t Au (97-98m); • PWRC004 – 1m @ 2.30g/t Au (65-66m).

An initial inferred gold resource for Percyvale indicates a shallow, high grade deposit containing 14,000 oz grading 4.1g/t Au to 40m depth. InterMet has received results from a comprehensive independent review of historical and current exploration data at the Percyvale gold deposit. InterMet believes there is exceptional scope to increase this resource which is untested at depth. A major drilling campaign is to commence in 3rd Quarter 2008.

Drilling results have been received for the Percyvale drilling program. A total of 11 holes were completed at ML 3366 (Union) and ML 30199 (Percy West) during InterMet’s Percyvale drilling program carried-out in April and May this year. Results from hole URC005 show 1m @ 12.4 g/t within a zone of 4m @ 3.6 g/t at the same level as within hole URC002, which is located 70 m to the west suggesting a possible continuous ore zone.
