Latest Information August 31, 1992 1,525 m of drilling was completed in 10 holes away from the Breccia Zone. Anomolous gold values were encountered in 6 holes but no significant economic mineralization was found. Results indicate that a possible ore zone would be too deep for open pit mining. January 31, 1992 1st DDH completed, intersecting 170 m of the Breccia Zone, containing pyrite, chalcocite, sphalerite,chalcopyrite and rare visible gold. Check assays in 1991 returned similar results. The induced polarization survey completed in 1991 on the Breccia Pipe indicated a southeasterly strike, with the angle of the plunge yet to be determined. Geochemical work & RC drilling completed in 1990. |
